Wavelink is an educational student project. This privacy policy explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you enter on this website.

1. Who is responsible

2. What data we process

• Details you type into the surf match quiz, waitlist, partner form or contact form (name, email, preferences, message).
• Booking details entered at checkout (name, email, phone, billing address, selected package options).
• Basic technical data required to deliver the website.

3. Where the data is stored

In this prototype, cart contents and demo orders are stored only in your own browser using local storage. Form submissions are processed in the browser to demonstrate the flow and are not transferred to a customer database. No payment data is collected, transmitted or stored — the checkout runs in test mode.

4. Cookies and tracking

WaveLink uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and key anonymous prototype interactions, including starting and completing the Surf Match and finishing a simulated checkout. Local storage is used for the shopping cart and demo order confirmations. The prototype does not use analytics to process payment details.

5. Sharing with third parties

No personal data is sold or shared with advertisers. In a live version, data would be shared only with the surf camps, schools and payment providers required to fulfil a booking.

6. Your rights

You can request information about, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time via the contact page. You can also clear all locally stored data by clearing your browser storage for this site.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the project develops. The date above shows the current version.
